It was an adventurous season

Oslo (NOR) 09.03.2012 – The last competition of this season on the Midstubakken in Oslo end with a very good performande of the jumpers.

Evelyn Insam on the 8th place in a powerful field and so she is in the total standings of theWorld Cup on the 13 place.

The two other jumpers of the Italian team, Lisa Demetz and Elena Runggaldier could again gain important points. They lie in the total standings 22 and 31 and occupied the 20 and 28 place.

“It was a adventurours season, but in Japan has shown that the girls are very tired. That’s why I’m especially very happy on the power of
Evelyn. She has conquered herself and gave their best. There were not her legs, but her incredibly strong now, they have worn so far, “said Julien Eybert-Guillon.
Evelyn showed two very good jumps of 98.0 and 96.5 meters.

Also, Lisa was able to increase, jumped very well and came to 91.0 and 88.5 meters. But still it lacks in breadth. Elena had shown yesterday during training very good jumps. Today, however, it was not so good. “It’s like during the season, during the competitions she is too nervous, the performance expectations too busy for her,” said the coach. It came with 86.6 and 87, 0 meters to rank 28.

Tomorrow reverse the Gardena interior back home. Relaxation is called for, and for Evelyn School. You must make up for the many subject matter in recent weeks. Milan are still carried out some tests, the intensive training begins again in May.

The two most powerful jumpers of the season delivered the race for the win even today. The American Hendrickson won the finale, confirming their position in the World Cup. Sara Takanashi was 108.0 meters the longest jump. The brilliant style of the U.S., she still had to admit defeat. In third place came the Norwegian Annette Sagen, who could exploit their home advantage. Hendrickson was already fixed a week ago as the winner of the first World Cup in the history of the women’s ski jumping.
